Your Voice, Digitized: Users can create a digital copy of their voice by recording a short script, and giving consent to Truecaller's AI assistant to then answer calls in their synthetic voice.
Customizable Responses: While introductory greetings use the preset digital voice, users can customize follow-up responses based on preferences for a more personalized experience.
Clarifying the Synthetic Nature: Truecaller restricts greeting templates for digital voices to make it clear to callers they're hearing a synthetic version, not the real person.
Limited Markets Initially: The personal voice feature is rolling out over weeks, starting in the US, Canada, Australia, South Africa, India, Sweden, and Chile for beta and eligible users.
