TikTok Teens Taming AI Titans:
Gen Z’s New Gig: Data annotation, the unsung hero of AI development, is becoming a popular side hustle for the TikTok generation. They’re not just scrolling and rolling, they’re training AI models like ChatGPT.
AI’s Unexpected Teachers: These digital natives are helping AI to become smarter, one TikTok dance at a time. It’s like teaching your grandma to use emojis, but in reverse and with more potential for a robot uprising.
The Flip Side: While it’s a win-win situation now, it could lead to unforeseen consequences. It’s all fun and games until Skynet learns to floss.
So, next time you see a teen on TikTok, remember they might be shaping the future of AI. Who knew the robot revolution would start with a viral dance challenge?
Microsoft and OpenAI are in trouble, once again:
The Lawsuit Unveiled: OpenAI and Microsoft are facing a new lawsuit over the alleged misuse of nonfiction authors’ work to train AI models. The lawsuit, led by author Julian Sancton, claims that OpenAI copied tens of thousands of nonfiction books without permission.
The Accusations Deepen: This lawsuit is among several brought by copyright owners, including authors John Grisham, George R.R. Martin, and Jonathan Franzen. The companies have denied the allegations. This is the first lawsuit to also name Microsoft as a defendant.
The Implications: Sancton’s attorney, Justin Nelson, stated that while OpenAI and Microsoft refuse to pay nonfiction authors, their AI platform is worth a fortune. The lawsuit seeks unspecified monetary damages and a court order to block the alleged infringement.
In the world of AI, it seems even robots can’t escape the long arm of the law!

Privacy Concerns Loom Large: Despite the excitement, experts are raising eyebrows over the glasses’ data collection policies. It seems that in the world of AI, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.
A Closer Look: The Ray-Ban glasses are more than just a pretty face. They come with improved design, audio performance, camera quality, and a charging case. But with great power comes great responsibility, and the jury is still out on whether Meta can handle it.
In conclusion, Meta’s new glasses are a bold step into the future. But as we embrace this new technology, we must also ask ourselves: at what cost?
