OpenAI's Coding Agent Goes Fully Mobile:

OpenAI dropped something developers have actually been waiting for. Codex just landed in the ChatGPT mobile app, and it works on both iOS and Android. That means your coding agent is no longer stuck waiting for you at your desk.

Things to Know:

  • What's new here: Codex is now accessible in the ChatGPT mobile app for all plans. You can connect to any machine running Codex and pick up exactly where you left off.

  • How the mobile pairing works: You connect your phone to a Mac running the Codex desktop app. A secure relay keeps your session synced without exposing your machine to the internet.

  • Remote SSH is now live too: OpenAI made Remote SSH generally available alongside this update. The desktop app detects hosts from your SSH config and connects instantly.

  • What you can do on mobile: Review outputs, approve commands, answer Codex's questions, and even kick off new tasks. You get the full Codex experience, just on a smaller screen.

AI coding assistants just escaped the desktop prison. OpenAI wants developers managing projects anywhere without carrying half-open laptops like exhausted airport travelers. The future of coding suddenly looks strangely mobile.

Contextual AI Tips Rolling Out On Android:

Google is quietly testing Contextual Suggestions, a lighter version of Magic Cue. It predicts daily actions, offering smart prompts like travel passes or playlists. Privacy remains protected with encrypted on-device data.

Things to Know:

  • Inspired By Magic Cue: Contextual Suggestions is modeled after Pixel’s Magic Cue, but designed for wider Android use. It’s appearing on stable Android 16 builds.

  • Routine-Based Prompts: The feature analyzes habits and locations to suggest actions before you search. Examples include boarding passes at airports or music apps at gyms.

  • Privacy Safeguards: Google claims all data stays encrypted on-device. No information is shared with third-party apps, ensuring secure contextual automation.

  • Advanced Signals: Unlike older App Actions, it combines signals from multiple apps for smarter predictions. This makes it more versatile than isolated app-based suggestions.

Contextual Suggestions could redefine Android’s daily experience. With privacy safeguards and broader rollout potential, it’s a step toward seamless AI-driven routines. The big question: how soon will it reach all devices?

Crash Expert: “This Looks Like 1929” → 71,105 Diversifying Here

Mark Spitznagel, who made $1B in a single day during the 2015 flash crash, warned markets are mimicking 1929. Seems extreme but we did just see the worst quarter for the S&P since 2022.

So it’s not so surprising that Vanguard and Goldman Sachs forecasted 5% and 3% annual S&P returns respectively for 2024-2034.

Late last year, Apollo’s chief economist Torsten Slok put it this way: "expect zero in return in the S&P 500 over the coming decade."

Almost no one knows this, but postwar and contemporary art appreciated 10.2% annually with near-zero correlation to equities from 1995–2025 overall.*

And sure… billionaires like Bezos can make headlines at auction, but what about the rest of us?

Masterworks makes it possible to invest in legendary artworks by Banksy, Basquiat, Picasso, and more – without spending millions.

29 exits. Net annualized returns like 16.5%, 17.6%, and 17.8% on works held over 1 year+. $1.3 billion invested. 500+ offerings.*

Raindrop's Free Tool Fixes Agent Debugging:

Building AI agents is one thing. Figuring out why they break at 1am is a completely different problem. Raindrop just shipped Workshop, a free, open source, local debugger that finally gives developers a clear picture of what their agents are actually doing.

Things to Know:

  • What Workshop does: It streams every token, tool call, and decision your agent makes to a local dashboard in real time. Everything lands in a single lightweight .db file on your machine.

  • The self-healing agent loop: Claude Code can read your traces over MCP, write evaluations, spot failures, fix the code, and re-run the whole thing automatically. It keeps going until every test passes.

  • Your data stays local: Workshop runs entirely on your machine at localhost:5899. Nothing gets sent to a cloud dashboard or a third-party server you do not control.

  • How to get started: It is a one-line install and works with most major frameworks including LangChain, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, and the Anthropic SDK. Open source under the MIT license.

Before Workshop, debugging an AI agent meant chasing traces across multiple tools while your harness sat on one machine and your evals lived somewhere else entirely. Raindrop put everything in one place, locally, for free.

How to Start and Grow a Newsletter with AI:

Most newsletter tools make you figure out writing, design, growth, and monetization on your own. You end up stitching together three or four different platforms just to do the basics. It gets messy fast.

beehiiv is a newsletter platform that puts all of that in one place. You write, publish, grow your list, and make money from it without jumping between tools. It also has a built-in AI assistant that helps with content, so you spend less time staring at a blank editor.

Here's how to get started:

  • Sign up and set up your publication: Create your free beehiiv account and fill in your newsletter details. Name, niche, and a short description. The free plan gives you a custom domain, unlimited email sends, and a basic website right out of the box.

  • Write your first issue with AI assistance: Open the editor and use beehiiv's built-in AI to help you draft, rewrite, or expand your content. It works directly inside the writing interface, so there is no need to copy-paste from ChatGPT.

  • Design your newsletter and website: beehiiv gives you a no-code website builder alongside the newsletter editor. You can customize the look of both without touching a single line of code. Templates are available if you want a head start.

  • Grow your subscriber list: Use beehiiv's built-in growth tools including subscribe forms, pop-ups, and the Boosts network, which lets other newsletters recommend yours to their audience. The referral program lets your existing readers bring in new ones automatically.

  • Monetize when you are ready: Connect to the beehiiv Ad Network to have brands automatically matched with your newsletter. You can also set up paid subscriptions, sell digital products, or manage direct sponsorships from your dashboard.

If you run an AI or tech newsletter and want one platform that handles the whole operation, this one covers it without much friction.
