Anthropic Releases New Claude Interviewer Tool:

Anthropic just gave Claude a new job title, and it’s not “AI assistant.” It’s “Interviewer.” The tool quizzes users about their AI habits, collecting insights that could shape future development.

Things to Know:

  • What It Does: Anthropic Interviewer runs automated conversations at a massive scale. It creates questions, conducts interviews, and helps analyze responses with human researchers reviewing everything afterward.

  • The Test Run: The company interviewed 1,250 professionals from different fields before going public. Creatives, scientists, and general workers all shared how AI changed their daily work routines and productivity.

  • The Good News: Most people felt optimistic about AI helping their work. Around 86% of workers said AI saves them time, while 97% of creatives reported similar benefits.

The tool is live for a week-long pilot on Claude's website. Anyone can participate and share their thoughts. Anthropic plans to run regular studies to track how opinions change over time.

Remember when software made business simpler?

Today, the average company runs 100+ apps—each with its own logins, data, and headaches. HR can’t find employee info. IT fights security blind spots. Finance reconciles numbers instead of planning growth.

Our State of Software Sprawl report reveals the true cost of “Software as a Disservice” (SaaD)—and how much time, money, and sanity it’s draining from your teams.

Google Brings Camera Feature to NotebookLM App:

Google just added a built-in camera to NotebookLM's mobile app, making it easier to turn physical stuff into digital sources. Snap a photo of handwritten notes, whiteboards, or printed materials right from the app.

Things to Know:

  • How It Works: The camera button lives on your homepage and Sources tab. Tap it to snap fresh photos or grab existing ones from your gallery.

  • What You Can Upload: Think screenshots, infographics, handwritten notes, whiteboards, and printed handouts. Basically, anything that holds information you want to process later on.

  • Mobile Improvements: The update also brings photo library browsing to mobile devices. Features like flashcards and quizzes are now rolling out widely across the app, too.

NotebookLM keeps getting better at bridging the gap between physical and digital note-taking. The camera feature feels like something that should have been there from day one.

Meta Rolls Out New Support Hub With AI Assistant:

Meta just dropped a new support hub for Facebook and Instagram, basically admitting their previous help options were garbage. The hub includes AI-powered search, an AI assistant, and account recovery tools. It's rolling out globally now on iOS and Android.

Things to Know:

  • AI Assistant for Support: Meta is testing an AI helper for personalized support on things like account recovery and settings. Facebook users get it first. Other Meta apps will follow later.

  • Security Gets Better (Supposedly): Account hacks dropped over 30% globally thanks to AI systems fighting phishing and suspicious logins. AI also helps Meta avoid wrongly disabling accounts.

  • Reality Check Required: Thousands of users complain about losing access to accounts and pages due to Meta's automated mistakes. Some suspect AI is the problem because there's zero human oversight.

The new hub centralizes recovery options with clearer guidelines and simpler verification steps. You can now take an optional selfie video to verify your identity. Better device recognition and improved security alerts are included, too.

Sunlight Turns Traffic Into a Fantasy:

Prompt:

"Photo of a stunning young Latina sitting in a tiny toy car on a crowded highway. She is stuck in heavy traffic with full-sized cars surrounding her. She looks like a supermodel, asleep with wind-blown hair glowing in warm sunlight. Her legs hang casually over the side of the toy car as she holds a large umbrella. The scene is surreal and bizarre, captured as an experimental 1990s photograph shot on Kodak film."
