OpenAI Merges Apps Into One Superapp:

OpenAI has been spreading itself thin for a while, and the cracks started showing. Now the company is merging ChatGPT, Codex, and Atlas into one desktop superapp. Fewer apps, sharper focus.
Things to Know:
Fragmentation Was the Real Problem: Too many products were slowing OpenAI down. Fidji Simo said fragmentation made it harder to hit the quality bar they actually wanted.
Codex Is Getting the First Upgrade: Before the full merge, Codex gets beefed up with more agentic features. ChatGPT and Atlas will fold in after that groundwork is done.
Anthropic Turned Up the Heat: Claude Code has been pulling serious attention lately, and OpenAI noticed. Simo told employees to stop chasing side quests and focus on what is actually working.
Your Phone App Is Safe: The mobile ChatGPT app is not changing at all. This superapp push is strictly a desktop play, so your phone setup stays exactly as it is.
Simo put it plainly on X: when a new bet starts working, you double down and cut the noise. Codex is that bet right now. Whether the superapp becomes OpenAI's sharpest product or just a bigger app with the same old problems is still an open question.
Your AI tools are only as good as your prompts.
Most people type short, lazy prompts because writing detailed ones takes forever. The result? Generic outputs.
Wispr Flow lets you speak your prompts instead of typing them. Talk through your thinking naturally - include context, constraints, examples - and Flow gives you clean text ready to paste. No filler words. No cleanup.
Works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and every other AI tool you use. System-level integration means zero setup.
Millions of users worldwide. Teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay use Flow daily. Now available on Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android - free and unlimited on Android during launch.
Claude Code Goes Mobile and OpenClaw Feels It:

OpenClaw had a good run, but Anthropic just built everything developers loved about it directly into Claude Code. No sketchy setups, no hardware tax, no community skill registry full of surprises. Just your phone and a Telegram message.
Things to Know:
What Claude Code Channels Actually Does: Developers can now message Claude Code from Telegram or Discord and get a reply when the task is done. It flips the old wait-at-your-desk model completely on its head.
The OpenClaw Problem It Solves: OpenClaw had real security issues, including over 50,000 exposed instances and a vulnerability scoring 8.8. Claude Code Channels gives you the same always-on agent experience without the chaos.
How to Set It Up: You need Claude Code v2.1.80 or later plus the Bun runtime. Create a Telegram bot via BotFather, run a quick configure command, and your phone becomes a remote control.
The reaction on X was pretty much unanimous. One developer said Anthropic shipped texting, thousands of MCP skills, and autonomous bug-fixing in four weeks. Another put it bluntly: "They've BUILT OpenClaw."
Meta Finally Fixed Its Broken Support System:

If you have ever tried to get help from Meta and ended up screaming into the void, you are not alone. Meta just rolled out a centralized support hub for Facebook and Instagram. The AI is handling things now, for better or worse.
Things to Know:
One Hub for Everything: Meta combined account recovery, security tools, and AI-powered search into one place. No more hunting across three menus just to report a hacked account.
The AI Assistant Is Live: A new AI support assistant is rolling out globally on Facebook, with Instagram to follow. It handles account recovery, settings changes, and profile issues around the clock.
The Numbers Sound Impressive: Meta claims account hacks dropped by over 30% globally thanks to its AI systems. It also says celebrity impersonation reports fell by over 80% since the tools went live.
An entire Reddit forum now exists for people suing Meta over wrongfully disabled accounts. Fixing broken AI support with more AI is either genius or the punchline to a very expensive joke.
