Welcome back, AI enthusiast.

OpenAI launched a free version of ChatGPT built specifically for doctors and clinicians.

It scored higher than actual physicians on a clinical benchmark. Is AI now better at medicine than the people who studied it for a decade?

OpenAI Just Unveils ChatGPT for Doctors:

Doctors already use ChatGPT by the millions every week. OpenAI noticed, and instead of just watching, they decided to build something specific. ChatGPT for Clinicians is now free for verified U.S. healthcare professionals.

Things to Know:

  • What It Actually Does: It handles the paperwork doctors hate. Referral letters, prior auth requests, and patient instructions all run on reusable templates now.

  • The Benchmark Nobody Expected: OpenAI released HealthBench Professional alongside this. GPT-5.4 scored 59.0 on clinical tasks while human doctors scored 43.7.

  • Who Gets Access: Right now, it is only open to verified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists in the U.S. International expansion is in the works.

  • The Real Search Engine: The tool pulls real-time, cited answers from millions of peer-reviewed medical sources. Doctors can also delegate entire literature reviews and get a well-cited report in minutes.

AI just gave clinicians a version of ChatGPT built around how they actually work, not how textbooks say they should. Over 700,000 physician-reviewed responses shaped this, which is a lot of medical second-guessing.

Google Taught AI Agents to Learn From Mistakes:

Most AI agents have a short memory problem. They repeat the same mistakes on every new task because nothing useful carries over. Google Cloud AI just built something to fix exactly that.

Things to Know:

  • The Memory Problem: Existing agent memory systems only learn from wins. Every failure gets tossed, which wastes the most useful lessons agents could carry forward.

  • What ReasoningBank Does: It distills both successes and failures into reusable reasoning strategies. One retrieved memory item per task works better than several.

  • The Benchmark Numbers: On WebArena with Gemini-2.5-Flash, ReasoningBank pushed success rates from 40.5% to 48.8%. Agents also completed tasks in fewer steps every time.

  • Memory That Grows Smarter: The memory does not stay static. Simple checklists gradually evolve into sophisticated strategies, all without touching the model weights.

This is one of those papers where the finding sounds simple but the implications run deep. AI agents that actually learn from failure are a different class of tool. If this scales, the gap between current agents and genuinely useful ones gets a lot shorter.

Your agents are missing a context engine

Your coding agents are fast. They’re also context-blind.

You see it in code that compiles but doesn't fit your system, long correction loops, and climbing token costs.

More MCPs, rules, or bigger context windows give agents access to information, not understanding. The teams pulling ahead use a context engine to give agents exactly what they need to generate mergeable code.

ChatGPT Just Became Your Team's Employee:

Custom GPTs were fine, but they mostly helped individuals. OpenAI just moved the goalposts. Workspace Agents are here, and they are built to do actual work across your entire team without you babysitting every step.

Things to Know:

  • What They Actually Do: These agents run in the cloud and keep working when you log off. They write reports, send Slack updates, and handle multi-step tasks on their own.

  • Who Gets Access: Business, Enterprise, Edu, and Teachers plan users can start building right now. It is free until May 6, after which credit-based pricing kicks in.

  • How to Build One: Just describe a recurring workflow in the new Agents tab and ChatGPT builds it out. It maps the steps, connects the tools, and tests everything before going live.

  • What Is Coming Next: OpenAI plans to add automatic triggers, performance dashboards, and Salesforce and Notion integrations. Custom GPTs are not going anywhere yet, but their days are numbered.

This is not a small update. ChatGPT is quietly becoming the operating layer for how teams get work done. The question is not whether your company will use this. It is whether your company will use it before your competitors do.

How to Write Faster and Beat Writer's Block Using AI:

Every writer hits a wall eventually. The idea is there but the words aren't coming, or you have a draft that needs work but you can't figure out what's wrong with it. Staring at the screen longer rarely helps.

HyperWrite is an AI writing assistant that works alongside you as you write. It doesn't replace your voice, it helps you get unstuck and move faster without losing what makes your writing yours.

Here's what it can do:

  • Generate sentences on demand: When you're stuck mid-paragraph, HyperWrite suggests how to continue based on what you've already written.

  • Create content on any topic: Start with a topic and let the AI produce a first draft you can edit into shape rather than building from nothing.

  • Simplify complex ideas: Paste in something dense and get a cleaner, easier to understand version back instantly.

  • Rephrase without losing meaning: Reword sections that aren't quite landing while keeping the original intent intact.

  • Write better emails: Feed it a received email and it drafts a well-structured reply based on the context.
