Pentagon Expands GenAI With xAI’s Grok Magic:

The Pentagon just announced it's adding xAI's Grok to its military AI platform. Early 2026 will see 3 million defense personnel getting access to the chatbot. Yes, the same Grok that praised Hitler this summer.

Things to Know:

• Impact Level 5 Security: The Department of Defense certified xAI for handling sensitive unclassified information. Grok will operate on GenAI.mil at the highest commercial security standard.

• Real-Time X Data Feed: Military personnel will get live insights from X (formerly Twitter). This gives the Pentagon what it calls a "decisive information advantage" for global awareness.

• Agentic AI Workflows: Beyond basic chatting, Grok will autonomously monitor intelligence feeds and execute protocols. The Pentagon wants faster threat response times with minimal human oversight required.
