OpenAI Leadership Gets A Subtle Reset:

OpenAI is making some big moves at the top, and none of them were on anyone's bingo card. The COO is out, the AGI chief is on leave, and the marketing head stepped down for health reasons. One reshuffle was expected. Three at once? That's a whole different story.

Things to Know:

  • Brad's New Gig: OpenAI's longtime COO Brad Lightcap is stepping away from daily ops to lead "special projects." He now reports directly to Sam Altman.

  • What That Actually Means: His new focus includes complex deals and business software ventures through a private equity joint venture. Denise Dresser, ex-Slack CEO, covers his old duties.

  • Double Health Leave: Fidji Simo, OpenAI's AGI development chief, is on medical leave for a neuroimmune condition. Co-founder Greg Brockman steps in to handle product during her absence.

  • CMO Steps Back: Marketing head Kate Rouch resigned to focus on cancer recovery. OpenAI is searching for a new CMO now, with Gary leading marketing in the interim.

OpenAI insists it has "continuity and momentum," which is exactly what companies say when things are very much in motion. With a possible IPO looming and nearly a billion users, these moves will be watched closely.

Samsung Now Has an AI Browser for Windows:

Samsung just brought its mobile browser to Windows, and it came with AI in tow. The new Samsung Browser for Windows syncs your phone and PC like they were always meant to talk to each other. Tabs, history, passwords, all of it.

Things to Know:

  • Cross-Device Sync: Pick up a webpage on your phone, finish it on your PC without missing a beat. Samsung Pass handles your logins and autofill across both devices.

  • AI That Reads the Room: Built with Perplexity, the browser understands the page you are on and what you need from it. Ask it to plan a trip based on what you are reading and it will actually do it.

  • Smarter History Search: Forget typing keywords into your browser history like it is 2009. Just describe what you were looking at and the browser finds it using plain language.

  • Multi-Tab Awareness: The browser can read across all your open tabs and summarize them at once. No more clicking back and forth just to compare two things side by side.

Right now the agentic AI features are only live in South Korea and the US, but more markets are coming. Samsung is not trying to beat Chrome on speed. It is trying to beat it on thinking, and that is a very different race to run.

Microsoft Calls Copilot Entertainment Only:

Microsoft has been selling Copilot as a productivity powerhouse, but its own terms of use tell a very different story. Buried in a legal document is a line that says Copilot is "for entertainment purposes only." Yes, really.

Things to Know:

  • The Disclaimer: Microsoft's Terms of Use quietly called Copilot entertainment-only back in October 2025. It literally says not to rely on it for important advice.

  • Satya's Enthusiasm: The CEO was on X asking Copilot for product launch probabilities and risk analysis. Turns out that was a clown show Microsoft forgot to label as one.

  • The Comparison: The "entertainment only" label is actually stronger than what an old Miss Cleo psychic ad used. A fortune-telling hotline had more confidence in its product than Microsoft did.

  • The Backpedal: A Microsoft rep told PCMag the wording is leftover from when Copilot launched as a Bing search companion. They say it no longer reflects how the product works and will be updated soon.

So Microsoft built an AI assistant, told everyone it was going to change how they work, and then quietly admitted in the fine print that you probably should not trust it. The update is coming, apparently. Until then, consult Copilot like you would a fortune cookie.

How to Access Multiple AI Models in One Place:

If you've ever had ChatGPT open in one tab, Claude in another, and an image generator somewhere else, you already know how annoying that gets. NinjaChat puts several of those tools under one roof.

It's not a new AI model. It's a platform that gives you access to multiple AI chatbots, an image generator, and a data analysis tool without the tab switching.

Here's what you can do with it:

  • Chat with multiple AI models: Switch between six different AI chatbots trained for different purposes. Useful when one model handles a specific task better than another.

  • Generate images: Create visuals directly inside the same platform without jumping to a separate image tool.

  • Analyze your data: Upload data and get AI-generated insights without needing to know anything about data science.

It won't replace your primary AI tool. But if you're constantly bouncing between different AI platforms throughout your day, having them consolidated in one place saves more time than you'd expect.

The Knight Rests Between the Shadows:

Prompt:

"Minimalist linocut movie poster of Batman's silhouette standing in a dark alleyway, holding a white game controller with a tiny red heart. A single streetlight casts a warm glow. Gotham's skyline fades in the background. Bold yellow text at the bottom reads "In the dark, a hero rises." Deep blacks, grays, and yellow tones on a black background."
