Anthropic Open Sources AI Behavior Watchdog:

Anthropic just dropped Bloom, an open-source tool that evaluates how AI models behave in different scenarios. It automates tedious testing, saving researchers time. Think of it as a stress test for AI brains.
Things to Know:
What Bloom Actually Does: Bloom generates custom evaluation scenarios based on a single target behavior. Instead of handwriting test prompts, researchers describe what they want to measure, and Bloom creates hundreds of situations automatically.
Four Stages of Testing: The framework works through understanding, ideation, rollout, and judgment phases. Each stage uses AI agents to simulate users, create scenarios, and score model responses for specific behaviors.
Real Results Already Here: Anthropic tested four problematic behaviors across 16 frontier models, including GPT-4o and Claude. The entire evaluation process took just days instead of weeks. Every major model showed some concerning patterns.
Bloom works alongside Petri, another Anthropic tool released earlier. While Petri maps broad behavioral profiles, Bloom drills deep into specific risks. Both are free and available on GitHub now.

ChatGPT’s Yearly Recap Sums Up Your Conversations:

OpenAI just dropped a year-end recap feature for ChatGPT users. It's basically Spotify Wrapped but for all your AI conversations. The feature shows your chat stats, themes, and even gives you an award based on how you used it this year.
Things to Know:
What You Get in The Recap: The recap includes personalized awards based on your chatbot usage patterns throughout the year. You might get the Creative Debugger badge if you spent most of your time solving problems.
Poems and Pixel Art Included: Each recap comes with a personalized poem and pixel painting focused on your topics of interest. OpenAI also throws in predictions for what you might do with ChatGPT in 2026.
Who Gets Access to This: The feature is available to Free, Plus, and Pro users who have memory and chat history enabled. Right now, it's rolling out in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Just open ChatGPT and ask it to "Show me my year with ChatGPT." You can also type 'your year with ChatGPT' and a chip will appear in the text box. It takes about 10 minutes to generate your personalized recap once you hit send.
OpenAI Admits Prompt Injection Attacks are Real:

OpenAI just admitted something a lot of us quietly feared: AI-powered browsers might never be fully safe from sneaky prompt injection hacks. These attacks fool agents into doing things users never intended or asked for.
Things to Know:
Understanding Prompt Injections: Prompt injection attacks hide malicious instructions inside web content, so an AI agent gets tricked into doing harmful stuff instead of your intended task.
OpenAI’s Honest Confession: OpenAI said prompt injection is unlikely to ever be completely solved, comparing it to never-ending internet scams. They’re relying on constant defense updates to keep up.
Automated Attackers and Detection: To stay ahead of real hackers, OpenAI built a reinforcement-learning “automated attacker” bot that tries to break security in safe simulations before real attacks occur.
OpenAI wants you to give AI agents specific tasks instead of broad access to your digital life. They're constantly updating defenses, but the company admits this is a never-ending arms race. The safest AI browser might be the one you're not using yet.
